Student visa

Student visa Students from European Union countries do not need a visa to study in Poland. Students from foreign countries must apply for a student visa. Azerbaijani students should apply for a visa at the Polish Embassy in Baku. The visa process is formalized in at least 15 working days. After receiving a visa from Baku, students must apply to the Migration office for a temporary residence permit during their stay in Poland.
 
What documents are required to obtain a Polish study visa?
• A certificate prepared by the university and sent to the student;
• A document about the place you will live (for example, a dormitory);
• Application form to be prepared on the website (national visa, more than 90 days);
• 1 3.5×4.5 biometric color photo;
• Original and copy of passport (all pages with Schengen visa and entry-exit stamp);
• Original and copy of ID card;
• Visa travel insurance for any period (minimum 30,000 euros);
• Bank statement of funds (minimum 3,000 euros);
• One-way ticket reservation;
• A bank document proving that you have paid the tuition fee;
• Visa fee: 80 euros (paid only in euros at the embassy);
• A certificate of language proficiency or proof of your English studies (may not be required in some cases);
• A certificate for a bachelor's degree, and a bachelor's diploma and transcript for those who want to study a master's degree, a copy of the certificate must be submitted to the embassy;
For students under the age of 18:
• Written, notarized consent of the parent(s) to submit the visa application.
• If the student does not have a bank account in his name, a commitment document to cover financial expenses (notarized translation and confirmation);
• Original and copy of parents' passports;
• Original and copy of the student's birth certificate.
 
Note: the passport must be valid for at least an additional 90 days after the visa expiration date. In some cases, the embassy may also request a certified translation of the certificate (for a bachelor's degree) or a bachelor's degree and its supplement (for a master's degree). Therefore, it is useful to take translated and certified versions of these documents to the embassy. It should be remembered that the embassy may ask you for additional documents in any case. The documents written above are the minimum documents required for visa application.
